Pasta with Mussels and Edamame

Happy Sunday all! This will be my first –of hopefully many- food posts. I’ve also enjoyed cooking, so I thought I’d share. Just for fun.

Mussels were buy one get one free, so I thought, why not get some?

I cooked the mussels –which included a butter and garlic sauce, there was no “no flavor” option-, some frozen edamame, and gluten free pasta. With a sprinkle of fresh basil mixed in. Last time I did this, I was able to get just the plain mussels, nothing else, so I added olive oil to the pasta and edamame before adding the mussels. Both ways were pretty tasty to me. I like this because it’s very simple, with minimal clean up.
